35′ Quepos Express

Capt. Dan Ross Quepos, Costa Rica Incorporated Licensed Insured

Come experience charter fishing at its finest aboard our 35’ Express charter boat docked in the heart of Quepos, Costa Rica. 25 miles off the coast of Quepos lay one of the most abundant billfish fisheries found anywhere on the planet, with charters consistently landing 5+ billfish in one day! Book a fishing trip with us and you’ll soon find out…

You’ll be fishing aboard our well kept 35’ Express boat, fully equipped with all of the gear you’ll need for a successful fishing trip. Your Captain will navigate from the flybridge where he’ll have a higher vantage point to look for birds, weed lines, and other sure-fire signs that indicate pelagic predators are nearby. Our charter boat is also equipped with Outriggers to make it easier to troll multiple rods, a livewell to keep the day’s bait fresh, and a Fishfinder. With a spacious cockpit, we’re able to comfortably fish up to 6 anglers.

We offer both half day trips and full day trips. If you’re looking to get a quick taste of what Quepos fishing has to offer, the half day trip will be perfect for you and your party. Wanting to make the most of your stay here in Quepos? We highly recommend our full day, 8hr fishing excursion. You’ll have your highest chances of landing multiple billfish on one trip, but no matter which trip you decide to book you’ll have the opportunity to hook up on the following species: Marlin (Blue Marlin, Black Marlin, Striped Marlin), Sailfish, Wahoo, Mahi Mahi (Dolphin) Barracuda, Yellowfin Tuna, Big Eye Tuna, Roosterfish, Red Snapper, Cubera Snapper, and more!

Dan Ross will be your main point of contact when you book with us. With a lifetime’s worth of fishing experience and having lived in Costa Rica for the past 15 years, he’ll be able to help you with anything you need. He can help provide transportation to our dock, offer lodging recommendations, and answer anything else you might want to know during your stay in Quepos.

October and November are the best months to catch Blue Marlin, though May also yields great numbers. Sailfish are caught off the coast of Quepos 365 days a year, but the peak season is from November-April. The same applies to the Mahi Mahi bite as well. They’re caught consistently year-round, but October-April are the hottest months. So, no matter which time of the year you’re looking to plan your fishing charter, we’ll be sure to put YOU on a fishing trip you’ll never forget! You’re just a couple clicks away from making memories that will last a lifetime… Book today!
