Your outdoor fishing charter journey with Capt. Brett will cover the waters of Lake Marion, Lake Moultrie, or Lake Murray. About an hour drive north of Charleston, SC, Lake Marion and Lake Moultrie provide excellent fishing opportunities and are considered some of the top freshwater fishing grounds in all of South Carolina. Lake Murray sits about 30 minutes west of Columbia and is a fisherman’s paradise for catching Largemouth Bass.
Fishing will be done aboard Capt. Brett’s 21ft Legend Bass boat that is ideal for South Carolina fishing charters. A 250hp Mercury engine powers her to all the fishing spots at speeds up to 60 knots. She has room for you and one other guest to fish comfortably. She features all the latest safety equipment, and a GPS/Fishfinder will help locate fish. You will also see a live bait well, a cooler, and a wireless trolling motor as well.
We offer 4 and 8-hour fishing trips covering several of the freshwater lakes of South Carolina. On each trip, you will be provided with high quality fishing gear, lures, and bait. Capt. Brett will use and teach you about several fishing techniques including spinning, drift fishing, bottom fishing, and light tackle.

Lake Marion and Lake Moultrie are both beautiful and amazing places to fish for big bass. The trees can make it difficult if you do not know what you are doing though. I’m from Ohio and have been out with Brett a few years in a row now during family trips to Myrtle Beach. I just bought a new Ranger boat and I’m still going to have Brett take me out this year! Brett provides great equipment and company. It is a pleasure to just listen to him because he is so knowledgeable. He will take you where you need to be on the lake and he is always patient and kind. He has shared his lunch with me when I forgot it and was ready with extra water and a free sun mask for me when it was hot. He never made me feel bad when I’d accidentally cast one into a tree with his expensive rod and reel or lost more rubber worms than I could count. I’ve taken my sons and he even handed them his pole to reel in big ones after he’d hooked them himself. He’s a true southern gentleman and has a lifetime of experience to offer. If you are like me and always wanted to fish one of the lakes you read about in the bass magazines and are looking for a true professional to get you out there, you won’t go wrong with Brett.

I fished with Brett last year on the Santee Cooper lakes. His knowledge is extensive and he is able to adapt to changing conditions quickly. I had a particular style of fishing that I enjoy. Brett was able to adapt to my request and put me on fish. I caught a few nice ones and he caught a serious toad. We really had a great time!
