We generally fish Halibut first since its more tide dependent than Salmon fishing. After Limiting on Halibut we generally spend 3 hours Salmon fishing.

The best trip
Created Kathy Rawlston
I have been deep sea fishing 6 times now and last summer’s trip was by far the best. I have fished the Pacific off Hawaii once, 3 times out of the gulf of Mexico and once with Catch-A-Lot. The Halibut that I got to experience catching last year was totally awesome and amazing. Mike is an awesome captain and guide and I will always refer you guys to anyone going on a Halibut charter.
Caught a big one

I can hardly believe I hauled in a 140lb. fish. I may not be able to lift my arms tomorrow. But, I’ve got 100+ of halibut fillets as gifts for my friends in Boston.
Thanks so much to your Captain, Mike and Crew. Our trip was certainly memorable for sure! We will definitely be back to fish again with you. We generally travel straight through to Homer when we visit Alaska. Now, you are definitely one of our goals.
