Offshore fishing is our passion! We strive to bring the most fun filled trips to you every time while always keeping safety in mind.

For an unforgettable Carolina Beach fishing charter, book today with Chase-N-Fins Charter and Captain Joe Jenkins. Your group of four will fish comfortably aboard the beautiful 23’ Sea Hunt Center Console. The boat is powered by a 225 HP Suzuki engine that reaches max speeds of 32 knots. All safety equipment has been checked and certified by the United States Coast Guard, and Captain and Crew are trained in CPR life-saving techniques. We work hard to maintain the safety of all passengers, as well as a great day of fishing.

Chase-N-Fins is a family friendly fishing charter in Carolina Beach, North Carolina. There is no minimum age policy for kids, and we welcome children of all ages and angler skill level! We just ask that you tell Captain Joe in advance the ages of all children so that we have the appropriate sized PFDs prepared for your kiddos.

We fish nearshore, wrecks, and offshore waters of Carolina Beach. Depending on the fishing grounds you can expect to reel in anything from Flounder and Cobia to Mahi Mahi and Sailfish. Chase-N-Fins is a year round charter, so no matter when you want to go, we’re ready for ya’!

Prices include fishing licenses for all passengers, rods, reels, bait, and lures. Captain Joe will also clean and bag anything under 50 pounds (anything over 50 pounds is available for cleaning at additional cost). Feel free to bring any snacks or drinks you’ll need for the day. And be sure to bring your camera to capture all the memories of the day.

    You’ll need to bring drinks (no glass bottles), snacks, weather appropriate clothing, sunglasses, sunscreen, etc.

  • Weather cancellations are at your Captain’s discretion, your safety is their number one priority! You will receive a refund for any weather cancellation, or you can choose to reschedule your trip for a different date.

Trip Details

Half day trips are great if this is your first time fishing or you want to bring your kids along. Captain Joe can provide life vests for them, just make sure to mention in advance that you need them. You will stay in the nearshore waters, targeting Cobia, Flounder, or Spanish Mackerel.

3/4 Day Trip

Trip Details

On this trip, you will go 10-20 miles offshore. Capt. Joe will prepare your fishing equipment, while you need to bring your snacks and drinks. As soon as you start your trip, you're going to catch some live bait and then head out for the main target.

Full Day Trip

6:00am - 2:00pm EST (8 hours)

Trip Details

This 8-hour adventure will take you 20-40 miles offshore. Your main targets will be various offshore species, such as King Mackerel, Barracuda, Sailfish, Grouper, Snapper, and Mahi Mahi when they move closer to shore during the summer months. You'll also catch some live bait on the way. Don't forget your snacks and drinks!

3/4 Day Trip
Was a great trip, didn’t waste time getting to the fishing spot. Joe knew right where to find the fish. Had one in the boat in less then 15 minutes. Was great at sharing his knowledge. I didn’t think there was so much difference between fresh and saltwater fishing. I learned alot in the short trip. Will definitely make a return trip. Highly recommend Joe for your next trip.

Full Day Trip
We did a full day with Captain Joe and his son DJ. The forecast called for decently clear waters, but that certainly changed. We all made the best of the trip, and it seems like every boat wasn’t having much luck that day, which I feel is expected the first weekend in April. We still had fun and I think they did a great job navigating and putting us on the fish that they did. We are certainly looking forward to eating what we caught and appreciate them cutting the fish for us!

AMAZING FISHING EXPERIENCE ! I cant begin to describe the quality and enjoyment of the trip provided by Captain Joe ! Putting us in the areas to maximize our quantity and quality of different types of fish. He has the knowledge, tools and equipment that provided a A+ time on water. My wife is 7 months pregnant and Captain Joe was unbelievable in making sure she was taken care of on ever level ! We couldn’t have asked for a better time and Captain ! We are definitely using Captain Joe next time and everytime we want to Charter fish !
