Captain Pete is the owner and operator of Falmouth Family Charters located in Falmouth Massachusetts. He is a Graduate of the Massachusetts Maritime Academy and has spent the last 23 years working on the water. From big construction ships in the oil field, to Tugboats in New York harbor, to oceanography on the Woods Hole Oceanographic Research vessels, Captain Pete has tremendous amount of knowledge and experience, and loves to share his passion with others. He is a native of Falmouth and has three boys who are growing to share his excitement for the ocean.

Captain Pete is at the helm of a 29’ Sport Fisherman. His vessel is powered by twin 225HP Volvo engines. He has a live well for fresh bait and outriggers outfitted on his boat as well as USCG approved safety equipment and modern electronics such as a GPS, radar, and a fish finder. Air conditioning, a multimedia system, a full bathroom with a toilet, and a kitchen are just some of the creature comforts of home you’ll find on Captain Pete’s boat. Children of all ages and anglers of all skill level are welcomed to join in on the fun with Falmouth Family Charters.

Falmouth Family Charters is a little bit different from other charters available in the area. They specialize in family-oriented excursions that combine fishing, sightseeing, swimming, and picnicking. Falmouth Family Charters offer 2 and 4 hour trips that while fishing focused, provide you with an opportunity to do a little more and experience a typical Cape Cod day. That’s why Captain Pete supplies all of the rods, reels, tackle, and lures as well as the fishing license. The end goal remains the same with Falmouth Family Charters, to pass on their passion and knowledge and to bring smiles to your faces!

On your trip with Falmouth Family Charters you and your guests will head to one of the area’s top spots and fish Black Seabass, Cod, Sea Bass, Bluefish, Striped Bass, Bonito, Porgy, and Tautog. Depending on the trip you choose, you will fish for a couple of hours and then head to one of the areas beautiful coves and inlets for some swimming and lunch. Favorite spots include Tashmoo, Hadleys Harbor, Cuttyhunk, Tarpaulin Cove and Oak Bluffs. After your successful day of fishing, your catch will be cleaned and filleted for you.
