Based out of Ponce Inlet/New Smyrna Beach, Fathom Fishing Charters is perfectly located to explore both the rich nearshore and expansive offshore waters off the coast of eastern Florida. Captain Brad Blanchard has been a tournament fisherman since the age of 16 and decided to make a profession out of his passion in order to stay on the water and encourage others to follow in his footsteps. He’s passionate about providing fun for the whole family.
Trips will take place aboard a beautifully-restored 1998 26’ Shamrock, that has been built and equipped to put fish on the deck. Powered by a 320 HP Volvo engine, it will get you out to sea in no time, and make sure you can get back okay if the seas turn. And while the captain focuses on getting you there, the first mate will be at hand to help you in any way possible.
Capt. Brad keeps all the gear up to date and only uses quality, top of the line equipment. In addition to the reels and rods provided, outriggers have been fitted to increase your chances of making a catch. Lures are provided and live bait will be caught during the journey. You can choose between light and heavy tackle, and what technique you’d like to use, but Capt. Brad is a master at trolling and jigging, and he’s only too happy to pass on his skills!
The trip promises to be action-packed with Capt. Brad bringing his tournament experience to your trip. Fathom Fishing Charters has you covered, whatever you’re looking for. Experienced angler or first-timer, hop aboard and get ready for some fun.
