Meet Captain Chris Cameron, Chris discovered his passion for fishing working at a bait shop when he was younger. He took his passion for being on the water even further by serving in the Navy for 8 years before moving to Cocoa Beach. Since moving to Cocoa beach area, Chris formed Fired Up Fishing Charters and has been running offshore charters since 2009.
We offer half day, full day & early evening trips aboard our comfortable 33’ “Seas Fire” vessel. She was custom built with fishing and safety in mind. She has a private bathroom, large covered passenger area, padded seating, dry design & plastic curtains – to keep the boat cool when it’s sunny and keep you dry when conditions are wet, 440hp Yanmar Diesel that is quiet and reliable, new “state of the art” navigation equipment, and well-maintained USCG Approved safety equipment.
Our offshore trip will provide you with Large bait well, to keep baits alive which can be important to making the fish interested. We provide you with brand new, top of the line, expertly rigged tackle giving you the best chance to land your prize catch.
Our Deep Dropping Trips have been some of the more popular fishing trips in Port Canaveral, catching some really awesome deep-water fish such as tile fish, grouper, Sailfish, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Cobia, King Mackerel, and other species. We travel between 30 and 55 miles to get to these fishing grounds and use electric heavy-duty reels for this type of fishing. We can be in waters as deep at 700 feet. These are some of the best eating fish around. If offshore is not what you’re looking for and just want to run the coast looking for Tarpon, Sharks, Big Reds or those monster ocean running Jacks and Smoker Kings along the beach, this can be a great day for you.
