Fishing inshore calm water in South Florida’s intercoastal and Everglades estuaries targeting primarily Tarpon, Snook, Peacock, and Largemouth bass with a very high success rate. Lots of action from a variety of other species while we are waiting for our big Tarpon bite such as snapper, jacks, sharks, and grouper.

First Class Fishing Charters offers several South Florida fishing trips, including a Lake Okeechobee fishing trip, an Everglades fishing trip, as well as a morning and evening Tarpon fishing trips. Prices include three anglers, your fishing licenses, and all rods, reels, and tackle.

Whether it’s freshwater fishing for bass, or the saltwater inshore fishing trip you’re looking for, First Class Fishing and Captain Ray Peterson can get you on the fish! Aboard the 19’ Shipoke Flats Skiff, your group of three will fish comfortably. This is a clean and safe vessel that gets us to the fishing grounds quickly with a 150 HP Mercury engine. All Safety Features are U.S. Coast Guard Certified.

An inshore fishing trip is right for you if you’re looking for calm waters with big fish! We target tarpon year round, along with snook, speckled trout, redfish, mangrove snapper, goliath grouper, and jack crevalle. The best time for the Silver King (tarpon) is March – July.

Fort Lauderdale fishing charters are a great way for your group of three to spend the day! It’s exciting and memorable for sure! First Class Fishing Charters offers four hour trips – and we can customize the perfect fishing trip that you’re looking for! You will want to bring your sunglasses, hat, sunscreen, and food/drink (with plenty of water for those hot Florida days). We have a small cooler available onboard if needed.
