Captain Michael and his crew have fished the Great Lakes for many years and love to share all the experiences and knowledge that they have gained with our customers, both young and old. We will work hard to put you on a trophy fish, that you can talk about for a lifetime. Captain Michael will ensure everyone aboard is comfortable and has the best experience possible.

Your trip will take place aboard the Black Label. She’s a 39’ Sport Fisherman with twin 400HP engines. Captain Mike’s vessel is one of the best boats on the Great Lakes! With all of the latest fishing and navigational equipment along with USCG safety equipment, everyone on board will have a productive and safe fishing trip. The Black Label boasts a large flybridge you can sit on as well to look down and see your targeted species as well as downriggers. She has all the comforts of home including an air-conditioned cabin and a fully enclosed bathroom. Your day on the water will be comfortable, productive, and safe when you book your trip with Fish-N-Tales Charters.

When you book with Fish-N-Tales Charters all of your gear including rods, reels, tackle, and lures are included. You and your guests will use a variety of fishing methods to get your catch from trolling and bouncing the bottom. Light tackle is used to attract fish along with the occasional live bait. If you are age 17 and up a state fishing license is required to fish, please make sure you have one before coming to the boat to fish. After your trip with Fish-N-Tales Charters, the First Mate will clean and fillet your catch for you.

Fish-N-Tales Charters will have you targeting King Salmon, Brown Trout, Coho Salmon, Yellow Perch, Steelhead, and Lake Trout. They start running charters in early April with weather permitting and run until November. Fish-N-Tales Charters offers a half day trip (5-6 hours) or a full day trip (8-9 hours) along with a scenic sunset cruise (2 hours). We will travel up and down the coast from Ludington, Michigan in search of fish.
