The vessel sails out of Wanchese, Outer Banks, a wonderful little fishing community with tons of great fishing spots. With his knowledge of the Outer banks, Captain Doug covers a lot of ground to find the best fishing opportunities for all his customers.
The spacious ‘Fishing Taxi’ sportfishing boat, which provides room for up to 6 people, is built by Ray Hunt. She is powered by 300 HP Twin Cummins engines. She features a flybridge and a huge deck area, and there is a toilet on board for your convenience. Everything is fully decked out for sportfishing, with a fighting chair and outriggers installed to make your trip one to remember.
Fishing Taxi Sportfishing offers a variety of Half Day fishing trips, ranging from four-hour nearshore fishing excursions targeting Bluefish and Spanish Mackerel to Sound Fishing that offer you the chance to drop your hook down from the boat and catch fish at your own pace. This is a 4 hour trip that typically leaves at 6 a.m. And we stay close to the beach targeting blue fish in Spanish mackerel and hopefully with enough time have some time to slide off the beach for something a little bigger. This is a great trip for young and old to come out and enjoy yourself without going too far off the beach.

This is a trip it leaves the dock at 10:30 in the morning. We go out to the ocean and we fixing the beach to five miles out. We a we target blue fish in Spanish mackerel and then hopefully still have time in the trip to try to find something bigger. This is a great trip to see close to the beach not get up too early and

This is a trip for the late risers. This trip leaves the dock at 10:30 and comes back at at 4 30. This trip allows us cover a widder area to possibly get as largest fish as possible. We still stay close to the beach but gives us a longer time to locate the fish that we are searching for.

This is a trip where we can go a little further looking for bigger fish. It allows us to cover more ground in search where other Charter boats or not crowding us. This is the trip that we try to catch Spanish and blue fish and also have time to go out and search for bigger fish in wider area .
