Capt. Gary Gillett Merritt Island, FL Incorporated Licensed Insured

Fishing in Cocoa has never been better than with Gary Gillet Fishing! We offer some of the best Port Canaveral fishing charters. Our goal is to have you reeling in as much fish as possible while enjoying a safe and professional Florida fishing trip. We cater to anglers of all ages and skill levels.

Captain Gary Gillet will be manning the helm as you enjoy some Merritt Island fishing. Capt. Gary loves fishing in Florida, and it gives him great joy to be able to take clients out on the water to show them just how exciting it can be. He possesses great knowledge of the local waterways and the species that swim them. He will be happy to answer any questions you may have on trips with him. Capt. Gary will make sure to put you right where the fish are biting so you can reel in a prize catch.

Merritt Island will be the start of your inshore Florida fishing charter. This area of Florida, known has the Space Coast, is full of ever-changing ecosystems and fisheries. You will explore the biodiverse estuaries of the Indian River, Banana River, Indian River Lagoon, and Mosquito Lagoon. Some of the areas you could end up exploring in these waters include Rockledge, Cocoa, Port Canaveral, Cape Canaveral, Sharpes, Courtenay, Port St John, Titusville, and more!

Fishing will be done aboard Capt. Gary’s stunning 2020 Hell’s Bay Boatworks Biscayne that is perfect for fishing charters in Florida. A 90hp Yamaha SHO will power her to all the fishing hotspots in a timely manner. She has enough room for you and a buddy to enjoy fishing with Capt. Gary. She sports all the required safety and navigational as well as all the latest fish finding technologies.

We offer trips covering the inshore, flats, backcountry, river, and nearshore waters of Florida’s Space Coast. We will provide you with rods, reels, tackle, lures, and fly-fishing equipment. If you have your own gear that you feel more comfortable using, Capt. Gary welcomes you to bring that along too. A fishing license will also be provided on all your trips with us.

Indian River fishing provides you with many different species to target. Some of these species we love to target on our trips include Black Drum, Snook, Spotted Seatrout, Tarpon, and Redfish.
