With Captain Brandon Hilliard at the helm, you’ll have a great time fishing, bring home some fresh fish dinner, and have memories to last a lifetime. Destin is one of the hottest places to fish, and no one works harder for his customers that Captain Brandon and Got the Hook Up Charters.
Your five passengers will fish aboard the 24 ft Sea Hunt, a powerful center console with 250 HP Yamaha outboard. The downriggers on board help for great fishing, and a livewell will keep the bait fresh. We also have top-quality GPS and Fishfinder, so we’ll be sure to get your line reeling. And all safety equipment is certified by the United States Coast Guard (including life jackets, flares, and VHF Radio). Captain Brandon and Crew are also trained in CPR and have a First Aid Kit readily available in case of emergency. Your safety is a top priority for Got the Hook Up Charters.
Fishing the Gulf of Mexico means we have a lot of opportunity to get the Hook Up! We’ll fish for Grouper, Snapper, Triggerfish, Amberjack, Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, and Cobia just to name a few. Techniques utilized by Captain Brandon include bottom fishing, trolling, jigging, spinning, drift fishing, and fishing with light tackle. If you have any questions about a technique, let Captain Brandon know and he’ll be happy to help. Whatever your skill level is, we’ll get you on the fish!
Excursions offered can be 4 hours, 6 hours, or 8 hours long. We recommend a shorter time for those with younger kids; and longer excursions for those who want to go out a bit farther in the Gulf. Inshore and Offshore trips vary in the kind of fish we catch; feel free to ask what is best for your group.

My family had a wonderful time learning about fishing and catching too many snapper to count! Captain Brandon was entertaining and made our experience unforgettable! During our adventures we saw a giant sea turtle, dolphins (who kept trying to steal our fish) and an assortment of fish. We will be booking through this charter next time for sure!
