Captain Brian Kyncy will be your guide as you set out on your exciting Sacramento River fishing charter. Capt. Brian was born and raised in Northern California. He spent all of his free time fishing the rivers and creeks from Yosemite to Mount Shasta. His success fishing and exploring Northern California led him to start running guide services so he could pass on his love for fishing and see others having the same success. Capt. Brian always looks forward to answering any questions you may have and will make it his personal goal to see you having lots of fun.
Your fly-fishing adventure with Capt. Brian will begin in Redding, CA and go on to fish the waters of the Sacramento River. We will not need to travel far to start seeing fish as there is plenty of life on this river within the city limits of Redding. We love to hover around the Sundial Bridge because we have a knack for finding the trophy sized fish that hang around this bridge.
Fishing will be done aboard Capt. Brian’s 20ft drift boat that makes a wonderful fit for Fly-Fishing in Northern California. She is powered by 50hp Yamaha engine and comes with all of the required safety features needed for a safe fishing trip. Her design allows for a stable ride on the water. There is room for 1 guest at a time because Capt. Brian likes to guide his trips one-on-one so he can focus all his attention on your success.
We offer full day trips that will drift down the Sacramento River practicing several fishing techniques including drift fishing, fly fishing, and trolling. All of our trips will provide you with all the rods, reels, tackle, lures, and bait needed for a productive day out on the water.
Fishing near the Sundial Bridge on the Sacramento River will have you targeting many exciting species including Salmon, Steelhead, Char, and plenty of trophy sized Rainbow Trout.
