Robert Carter will be the captain on your Oneida Lake fishing adventure. He began his fishing career down in the Florida Keys on his own commercial boat. He then moved to New York, where he started running guided fishing trips on several of the freshwater lakes. Capt. Robert has a passion for fishing and being out on the water. He loves sharing that passion with all of his clients on his fishing trips. Capt. Robert is always eager to share all his knowledge of the local waterways and the fish that swim them with you.
Sitting just outside of Syracuse, NY, Oneida Lake offers some of the best freshwater fishing opportunities in all of New York. Your fishing trip with Capt. Robert will begin in Bridgeport and go on to explore all of the fishing hotspots of this freshwater paradise.
All the excitement begins the moment you step foot onto Captain Robert’s stunning Carolina Skiff center console. This vessel makes Oneida Lake fishing a dream come true! She is powered by a 200hp Suzuki engine that reach cruising speeds up to 45 knots. All of the required safety and navigational equipment is found on deck and a fish finder will help us locate fish. She also sports a live baitwell, a cooler, and a wireless trolling motor. She is spacious enough for up to 6 guests to enjoy fishing.
We offer 6-hour morning and afternoon fishing trips that cover Oneida Lake. All the rods, reels, tackle, lures, and bait are included in the trip price. Capt. Robert will be happy to teach you about the different methods of fishing he employs including bottom fishing, jigging, light tackle, spinning, and his unique way of dropping for Trout.
Captain Robert specializes in targeting the popular Walleye. Some other species you may run into on our trips include Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Landlocked Salmon, and Rainbow Trout.
