Middle Bay Fishing Charters – Orange Beach

Captain David Rice has been fishing the surrounding waters of Mobile Bay for over 30 years. You’ll have a hard time finding a more qualified Captain! His passion for fishing is contagious. If this is going to be your first-time fishing, he’ll be happy to teach you everything you need to know. Middle Bay Fishing Charters is family friendly, Captain David is great with kids! 

Middle Bay Fishing Charters offers both 4 hour half day fishing charters, as well as 6 hour trips. It goes without saying that the longer the trip, the more fish Captain David will be able to put you on! On our longer trips, we’ll also be able to fish a variety of locations such as: Weeks Bay, Mobile Bay, and Gulf Shores. Our primary targets on your trip will be Spotted Seatrout, Red Drum (Redfish), and Mackerel (both King Mackerel and Spanish Mackerel). Other species we’ll likely catch are: Tripletail, Pompano, Cobia, Black Drum, Jack Crevalle, Sheepshead, and Flounder.

You’ll be fishing aboard our 24’ Center console charter boat, originally built in 2003. She’s powered by a single Yamaha engine with 300hp and is spacious enough to comfortably fish up to 4 anglers. On board you’ll find all the equipment needed for a successful inshore fishing trip. Our wireless trolling motor allows us to quietly cruise the skinny waters of Mobile Bay without spooking the fish. 

The trip cost for the day includes use of Middle Bay Charters’ top of the line Rods, Reels, and Tackle, a fishing license for everyone on board, live/artificial bait, and Captain David will fillet your catches at the end of the trip. Be sure to bring your sunglasses and sunscreen with you. We also recommend that you bring snacks/drinks, and also a cooler to keep your catches fresh for dinner!
