Captain Rodney Harper and crew will be behind the helm as you enjoy your deep sea fishing adventure. Capt. Rodney has many years of experience fishing in Texas and running Freeport fishing charters. He started Oilfield Outkasts Charters so he could share his passion for fishing with others and show them just how exciting fishing charters in Texas can be.
Your fishing charter excursion with Captain Rodney will begin in Freeport. Capt. Rodney will want to lead you to all the best fishing spots, so you may end up exploring the nearby waters of Quintana, Surfside Beach, Jamaica Beach, Sargent, and many other locations along the shores of Southeast Texas in the Gulf of Mexico.
Fishing will be done aboard the beautiful “Pesca Mas”, a 30ft Sport Fisherman that was built for Texas fishing charters. Her twin 200hp Volva Penta engines will power her to all the fishing grounds in a timely and comfortable manner. She has room for up to 6 guests to enjoy fishing. While on deck, you will find features such as outriggers, GPS, a fishfinder, a bed, a flybridge, a kitchen, a shower, a toilet, and a salon.
We offer 4, 5, and 8-hour private and shared fishing trips covering the nearshore and offshore waters of Freeport. All of our trips will include rods, reels, tackle, lures, and bait. A Texas fishing license will be needed prior to the trip. At the end of each trip, we will clean and bag any catches you are able to keep.
