When you choose Old Florida Adventures Guide Service you will be fishing with over 30 years of fishing experience. Not only do I know how to put you on fish, I know how to treat people. You are my guest for the day and it’s important to me that you are comfortable and relaxed while you’re fishing with me. We will be catching in Tampa Bay mostly on the inshore flats for the Snook, Reds, and Trout. I also catch Tarpon, Sharks, Kingfish, Snapper, Grouper, Cobia. If it swims I can catch it. My boat is a custom built 24’ Adventure Bay boat with a 250 HP 4-stroke Yamaha engine that will get you to the fish safely and efficiently! This boat also has a 50 gallon live well, two coolers (one for food/drinks and the other for your catch!) and has all the state-of-the-art features to make our day successful. I stay on top of everything to make sure it is clean and everything is working. Safety equipment is U.S. Coast Guard certified. I mostly fish live bait but there are times when we will be going artificial. I am licensed to fish with up to 10 people, but this boat is great for 4 people! If there’s more there’s no problem. We have half day trips, 3/4 day trips, and full day trips (that usually run 8 hours). Trip price includes your fishing license, bait, lures, and top quality reels and rods for catching your target fish. I am a 4th generation Florida Southern boy that knows how to treat people, talk to people, educate people on how to fish, loves children and has no problem customizing your fishing trip to meet your needs. We will be using light spinning tackle. Fishing for snook, redfish, trout, mackerel, king fish, tarpon, grouper, and snapper. If it swims in the bay we can fish for it. As a captain I am always patient and willing to teach and show each and every guest up on my boat how to use the tackle, how to hook the bait, how to cast a rod and reel, and how to hook a fish.
