When you book with Reel Call Charters, you’re booking with one of the most veteran charter services operating out of Orange Beach, Alabama. We excel in both inshore charters, and nearshore trips!
Captain John Sullens has been fishing the waters off of Gulf Shores, Alabama since 1995. He operates a team of qualified guides and treats every fishing trip as if it were his own. You can expect a full-service private trip with Reel Call Charters, and we’ll provide one on one help to make sure you’re catching all the fish you can. If needed, we’ll even bait your hook! We’re a family friendly charter service, all ages are welcome at the parent’s discretion. Captain John is great with young kids, he’ll have them fishing like a pro in no time!
Reel Call Charters maintains a well-kept 22’ center console, powered by a 200hp Yamaha engine. She receives regular maintenance and has enough room to fish up to 6 anglers. There’s a T-Top to provide shade for everyone, and you can also find a GPS and fish finder on board. Reel Call Charters has a variety of safety equipment on board, including: Life Jackets, First-Aid Equipment, Flares, and a CPR-Trained Crew.
You can expect to catch a variety of Alabama’s coveted inshore/nearshore species, such as: Tarpon, Spotted Seatrout, Redfish, Cobia, Spanish Mackerel, Tripletail, Pompano, Triggerfish, and Permit. If the seas are calm enough (at Captain John’s discretion), you’ll be able to go further offshore in hunt of Mahi Mahi, King Mackerel, Grouper, and Mangrove Snapper.
Your trip cost includes rods for everyone on board, fishing licenses, fresh/live bait, and Captain John will clean your catches for a fresh dinner. April-May, and September-November are the best windows to target Redfish. April and May are also the top months to target Spotted Seatrout, but January-March and October-December also produce great numbers. No matter which time of year you’re looking to book with Reel Call Charters, something is always biting!
