Sea Reed Charters is proud to announce a new Thread Fin 24 custom charter fishing boat. This is a top-of-the-market boat with state-of-the-art electronics for an amazing day of catching fish. The vessel is able to handle shallow backcountry waters for Snook and Redfish, the Boca Grande Pass for some Tarpon action, and the offshore waters for Grouper, Permit, and King Mackerel trips. No matter the type of trip you’re interested in, Sea Reed Charters is able to accommodate all your fishing desires.
Captain Clarence and five anglers fish comfortably aboard Sea Reed Charters. We offer a variety of trip times – half day, 6 hour, or full day. These are set at competitive prices and include everything you’ll need for your day on the water: including fishing licenses, rods, reels, bait, lures, and tackle. Your group will want to bring something to eat and drink while out on the water, as well as sun protection for the Florida sun (such as hat and sunscreen). A plastic ziplock bag is also good to bring to store your personal items.
Charters fill up quickly during the summer months, but we’re fishing every day so book early and often! Our local Gulf waters are famous for its miles of beaches, mangrove shores and large areas of grassy flats. Anglers of all ages are welcome. A quick trip using light tackle to target a variety of inshore species. The season will determine what we'll be targeting, you can expect to catch Snook, Seatrout, Redfish, Tarpon, Shark, and more.
The six hour trip allows us more time to target a wider variety of species, and to fill your cooler with more fillets. Season dependent, we'll be fishing for Tarpon, Snook, Red Drum, Spotted Seatrout, Sharks, and more.
The 8hr trip is for the anglers looking to make the most of their day on the water. If you're wanting to catch trophy sized Snook, Tarpon, Redfish, and more, this is the trip for you. All of the fishing gear will be provided, as well as a fishing license for all on board.
