Captain Chris Davy is the owner and operator of Southern Fried Charters. He has multiple years of fishing experience. When you go on a trip with him, you can expect a friendly and relaxing atmosphere that will make your fishing pleasant.

The boat you will be fishing from is a 20’ flats boat with a 90HP Honda engine and is equipped with GPS system and a fish finder. She can accommodate up to 5 anglers. You and your group will have the boat to yourselves. She also stores the required safety gear as well as a live well for fresh bait. Captain Chris gladly welcomes both novice anglers and pro fishermen alike. He can also accommodate families with kids. When you pack for the trip, make sure to bring food and drinks. You will also want to have a camera by your side, as well as sunblock, cap, sunglasses, and comfortable clothes.

Captain Chris will supply quality rods, reels, tackle, and lures. The fishing license is provided as is fresh bait. You and your guests have the choice of a 4 hour trip and a 6 hour trip that will have you exploring the fresh water of Interlachen in search of Crappie and Largemouth Bass. Fishing is solid year-round, but it’s best to consult with the captain as to what you may expect to catch on your desired date.
