Captain Travis Freeman is a third-generation fisherman, having decades of Everglades fishing knowledge passed down from his grandfather. The fish fear him because he knows where they’re at and what they like! He’s an enthusiastic, patient teach with a passion for sharing his love for the Florida Everglades. No prior experience is needed to have a successful day on the water. Capt. Travis will put you on the fish, all you have to do is reel!

Leave your lucky rod at home, Steady Fishing Charters will provide your group with all of the fishing equipment you’ll need on the water. Throughout the year you can expect to hook up on Redfish, Snook, Seatrout, Grouper, Mangrove Snapper, and other exciting gamefish. You’re able to bring any legal fish back to the dock, Capt. Travis will be happy to fillet the day’s catch! Any protected or out of season species will be safely released after a quick photo op.

Your Everglades fishing adventure begins when you climb aboard Capt. Travis’ 24ft bay boat! She can comfortably fish up to 4 anglers, not including your Captain. Her versatile hull allows Capt. Travis to navigate the winding waterways into shallow waters other boats aren’t able to access. Onboard you’ll find a livewell to keep your bait fresh and power poles to quietly anchor the vessel in shallow water without spooking the fish!
