Xtreme Adventures Panama is a company that was founded in 2000 by a diverse group of young entrepreneurs. They offer offshore fishing trips for anglers of all skill level. Captain Diego runs full day offshore trips for serious anglers. He also offers trips for beginners and family groups. The main departure spot is in Rio Hato, but Captain Diego also picks up from Vista Mar Marina, Playa Blanca, and Buena Ventura. Captain Diego is a local who puts his customers first. He’ll take you to the hottest spots for the most productive day out. He also has a translator on board for you.
Your fishing trip will take place on a 24’ center console powered by a 270HP Yanmar engine. This impressive boat can accommodate up to 5 guests comfortably. All of the necessary electronics for a successful day on the water such as a GPS, fish finder, and a VHF radio are on board. Safety equipment including life jackets, a life raft, first aid equipment, and a CPR trained crew are also on board. This vessel also features a private toilet, a bed, a fighting chair, outriggers, and downriggers. Snorkeling gear is on board for snorkeling trips that Xtreme Adventures Panama offers.
Captain Diego will provide your fishing equipment including rods, reels, tackle, and lures. The fishing license for you and all of your guests will also be provided on your trip with Xtreme Adventures Panama. Drinks and snacks will be offered as well. Your targets for the day depend on the length of the trip and the fishing grounds. You’ll be heading out up to 25 miles on the 5 hour trips and up to 40 miles on the 7 hour trips.
On shorter trips with Xtreme Adventures Panama you will be targeting Roosterfish, Jack Crevalle, Barracuda, Spanish Mackerel, and King Mackerel. Longer fishing trips give you enough time to target Tuna, Amberjack, Wahoo, Yellowfin Tuna, Red Snapper, Mahi Mahi, and Sailfish. The First Mate will clean and fillet your catch after your day on the water with Xtreme Adventures Panama.
