With the wind blowing out on the reefs we decided to run the beaches and see if we could spot any of the prehistoric looking Lobotes Surinamensis, more commonly known as Tripletail. We saw and caught lots of shorts (under 18″) but we did lose a MONSTER and managed to boat these two nice ones. The Tripletail like to hang right next to floating buoys/crab trap pots and are definately a treat. Live shrimp on free lines did the trick!
