Charlotte Harbor

Posted January 03, 2019

Captain Rich fishing out of Burnt Store Marina in Punta Gorda,FL reported very good fishing on Charlotte Harbor.
The mornings tides have ran rather slow which slowed down the fishing early but by days end the bite has improved and kept the rods bent. A good steady mix bag of Trout,Snook, and Reds have provided the bulk of the action. Schools of blitzing Jacks have even showed up at times and made for some exciting doubles and triples around the boat.
With this current weather pattern holding up fairly good on the long range forecast, the bite should continue to heat up as well.
