It may be Spring at the beach in Destin but the fish are not taking a break and the bite is hot for Triggerfish and Snapper in the Gulf of Mexico!
Pelican Adventures offers a variety of fishing and located on the Destin Harbor making it easy to navigate inshore to the Choctawahatchee Bay and offshore through the Destin Pass to the Gulf of Mexico.
Pelican Adventures books private fishing charters starting at 4 hours, shared deep sea fishing trips and party boat fishing, which is per person up to 65 passengers. We offer a shared fishing charter for deep sea fishing enthusiasts that are interested in the private fishing charter without the investment. A shared charter is an excellent idea for fisherman traveling solo to allow more elbow room fishing and deeper waters than a party boat.
We had an awesome shared charter of several groups that we scheduled together for a 6 hour fishing trip on Good Times in the Gulf of Mexico. The weather was mild and comfortable and seas were calm with small swells and the catch was on throughout the day and Good Times were definitely caught!
Many first timers joined us and were HOOKED for life after some super fun fights on monster Triggerfish! Lots of red snapper were caught and released waiting for June 1st season opener but Good Times brought in quite a haul of Vermillion Snapper, White Snapper and delicious Triggerfish.
All of our fishing trips at Pelican Adventures includes fishing license, bait and tackle, rod and reel and our mates will clean the fish ready to cook -> Gulf to Table at its finest! There are several Destin restaurants within walking distance from our dock that will cook your catch “hook to cook” also and believe me the fish always tastes better when you catch it ?
