Lots of redfish, snook, and jacks chasing around mullet and small pilchards on the flats. It’s been windy, but we are able to find spots hidden from the wind. Fortunately, the fish like to hang there too. Nelson has never caught a redfish before. He managed to fool his first one successfully and it was a good one! 30 inches on the dot. He also fooled several snook, a good trout, bluefish, Jack crevalles and mangrove snapper.
