Fun Day!

Took a couple of guys out that trusted Victory Bay Charters with putting them on fish. The trout bite was slow that morning, so I offered a chance at sight fishing redfish and they happily accepted. First shallow pond we entered was full of hungry redfish. Several were self released and many just under 16″ were caught. Once one pond was worn out, we would move to another pond, stalk the fish, cast to, and set the hook! On the way back in, the guys asked for one more chance at the trout. We found ideal conditions not far from the marina and caught 14 trout, with 9 being legal size.
