Great Kingfish Action!

Posted November 27, 2019

It was a wonderful day fishing out of Pompano Beach Florida on Gale Force, a 32’ Intrepid. Our anglers, Rena and Ashley, are both Veterans to whom we are forever thankful for their service! Rena also brought her 8 year old daughter Mia who loves to fish. At Gale Force Fishing we welcome all ages and encourage everyone to give fishing a try. It was an excellent day deep sea fishing on the water with plenty of kingfish action. Ashley was able to catch her first kingfish while Rena had a blast reeling in several more including bonito and tuna. We were able to end the day with some fun bottom fishing, which Mia absolutely loved! When we have kids on our charters we usually try to incorporate some bottom fishing which is very hands on and full of action. You never know what you might catch; snapper, grouper and a variety of wreck dwelling species. Mia really enjoyed her snacklebox, we even baited some hooks with some gummy worms in an attempt to catch the elusive gummy fish! This time of year the fishing can be very good. The kingfish are in close, the mahi mahi are still lingering and the sailfish are starting to come around.

If you’re looking to do some deep sea fishing in the Pompano Beach area give Gale Force Fishing a call and we will be happy to put you on the fish for some Family Fun Fishing!
