Boat is in the water and we are ready to start running trips for the 2019 season. Took a boat ride out on the water this past weekend and water is still fairly cold yet with the ice just leaving a few short days ago at 36 degrees Fahrenheit. Walleye are being caught trolling at extremely slow speeds or anchoring up and vertical jigging ice jigs. Walleye are stacked out in the deeper water waiting for the water temps to warm up at bit into the 40 – 42 degree Fahrenheit range. I look for the spring jig bite to really heat up by next weekend as the 10 day weather forecast has outside temperatures in the 50’s. Weather is not looking good for this weekend as they are talking a big blow of 30+ MPH winds Saturday into Monday afternoon, hopefully it won’t dirty the water up to much. Are first scheduled trip of the 2019 season is for the first weekend in April so hoping for good weather all of next week.

Get your trip booked up now as, as the weather gets nicer and the fishing heats up so will the prime time walleye dates for the 2019 season. Please don’t hesitate to message me with any questions you may have, I am here to help anyway I can.

We look forward to seeing you at the dock
