Red Hot RedFishing

Posted August 06, 2019

With summer in full swing the redfishing has really kicked into gear. Our weather pattern has been tricky over the last couple weeks with a lot of rain showers but it’s those same rain showers that has the redfish fired up! Often times the rain showers drop the water temps a couple degrees sending these fish into feeding mode. I have been doing best on the incoming tide fishing cutbaits way back in shaded mangrove shorelines. With Temperatures on most days in the 90s the rain showers feel kind of nice so don’t be afraid to grab a rain jacket and get in on the action.
