Winter Time special

Posted November 13, 2018

Hi Fisherman. This is Capt. Bobby Earhart owner of Off The Charts Guide Service. We had another great trip today. As usual for this time of year the weather was beautiful and the fish were hungry. We were greeted by a warm southerly breeze and a slowly falling tide. On board for the trip was one of my regular clients and his beautiful daughter. They are both good anglers and had no trouble landing over 60 fish in about four hours. Speckled Trout were the stars of the day being joined by a few nice Reds and Black Drum. All of the fish were caught on live shrimp and released to fight another day.
We were fishing near Delacroix Island over oyster reefs that were located in about five feet of water.
While most of the country is beginning to feel affects of winter the weather here is still warm and the fishing is still hot. The winter months are some of the best for fishing in Louisiana so don’t miss out.
